About the position
- Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to leverage relationships across the enterprise.
- Manage the seven steps of the sourcing process including Spend analysis, Market Research, Supplier Due Diligence, Sourcing Strategy, RFX Management, Bid Analysis, and Contract Management.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and their core competencies using industry cost models.
- Conduct RFX development and execution, proposal evaluation, and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Perform analysis of financial and business data related to supplier proposals and capability assessments.
- Develop, manage, and lead cross-functional teams (CFT) in strategic sourcing processes.
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers at the Senior Management level.
- Execute contracts in liaison with the Legal and Contract Management Team.
- Create sourcing strategies to acquire materials and services at the right price and quality.
- Execute supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers.
- Support the growth of the Supply Chain Management practice by contributing to collateral development and methodology.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing.
- Knowledge of legal language and terminologies related to contracting.
- Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree.
- IT Sourcing, Supply chain or Procurement experience.
- Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- Ability to define and develop work products and deliverables.
- Ability to support engagement in conducting interviews and coordinating business workshops.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications.
- Ability to lead meetings/conference calls and give presentations to large audiences.
