Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Workday Data Conversion Lead to manage and execute data conversion activities during the implementation and deployment of Workday modules. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Workday expertise, advanced data migration knowledge, and strong customer-focused leadership to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data migration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Β Workday Expertise:
Β Apply 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience in senior data conversion roles for implementation/deployments.
Β Leverage Workday partner certification in Data Conversion to maintain and expand skills.
Β Data Conversion Leadership:
Β Lead discussions on data conversion strategies from systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, AS400, and SAP.
Β Facilitate client discussions during deployment projects to define requirements, validation methodology, and conversion processes.
Β Manage global teams across multiple time zones for large-scale Workday deployments.
Β Technical Skills:
Β Utilize ETL processes and Workday tools (iLoads, XML, Web Services, EIBs) for data migration.
Β Map data requirements to Workday structures and create custom reports for data validation.
Β Employ advanced MS Excel skills and software tools like Notepad++, Oxygen XML, or ASAP Utilities.
Β Collaboration & Problem Solving:
Β Partner with customer teams and third-party vendors to resolve data conversion-related issues.
Β Research and address data reporting issues, ensuring data integrity and efficient processes.
Β Facilitate data conversion testing and validation activities with stakeholders.
Β Customer Focus:
Β Maintain strong client relationships by effectively managing expectations and delivering customer satisfaction.
Β Attend meetings across global time zones to coordinate with customer teams and leads.
Β Internal Collaboration:
Β Work with product teams to leverage automation tools and accelerators for efficient data conversion.
Required Skills and Experience:
Β 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience in data conversion for implementations.
Β Workday partner certification in Data Conversion.
Β Proficiency in ETL processes and data migration strategies.
Β Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with XML-based tools.
Β Knowledge of Workday methodology and tenant build stages.
Β Experience managing global teams and collaborating across time zones.
