Description
A GCSE Physical Education Visiting Moderator plays a critical role in ensuring the consistency and quality of student assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- To moderate certain forms of student work, such as coursework and projects, that have been marked by teacher examiners/assessors at educational centres.
- To undertake direct assessment of school-based components in the subject when centres choose not to make initial assessments.
- To complete and submit centre reports to the Team Leader or Principal Moderator as required.
Requirements
- You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
- You will be a qualified teacher with teaching experience in the UK and relevant subject area.
Essential Competencies
- You will possess a high level of subject knowledge to accurately apply the mark scheme.
- You will be able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- You will have proficiency in IT systems.
