Key Responsibilities
ย Deliver personalized online instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with special needs.
ย Create and manage virtual Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning plans.
ย Collaborate closely with families, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
ย Utilize assistive technology to enhance learning and engagement for students.
ย Monitor and evaluate student progress in the virtual classroom setting, making adjustments as needed.
Qualifications
ย Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree is preferred).
ย Valid teaching license in West Virginia with a Special Education endorsement.
ย Experience with online or distance education is a plus.
ย Strong digital skills and proficiency in educational technology.
ย Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
