VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual School Social Worker to provide support to students in need of social-emotional assistance through our teletherapy platform. This remote position allows you to make a meaningful impact to students in Michigan while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities...
ย Provide virtual counseling and support to students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
ย Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to address student concerns
ย Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student assessments
ย Assist with crisis intervention and provide referrals to appropriate services as needed
ย Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing comprehensive support plans for students
ย Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and reports
Job Details:
ย Contract: 1099 independent contractor (self-employed)
ย Hours: Flexible schedule, aligned with school hours and student needs
ย Location: Fully remote, work from home
ย Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
ย Masterยs degree in Social Work (MSW)
ย Active state licensure as a School Social Worker
ย Experience working in school settings, with knowledge of IEPs and 504 plans
ย Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling techniques (preferred but not required)
ย Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
ย Reliable internet connection and video conferencing setup
