We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team and run a dedicated lanes from the ports of NJ/NY to Hillsborough, NJ with some runs to Carlisle, PA. This role is essential for transporting goods efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage their own vehicle while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Β Operate and maintain a commercial vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.
Β Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
Β Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules.
Β Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Β Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
Β Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Β Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to trucking operations.
Skills
Β Proficient in operating various types of trucks including tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, roll-off truck, and manual transmission vehicles.
Β Experience with route driving and understanding of logistics for efficient transportation.
Β Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading cargo as needed.
Β Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
Β Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on the road.
Β Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
