Job Title: Assemblers
Job Type: Contract
Location: Memphis, TN
Shift Time: Day Shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM M-F plus Some Saturdays and overtime)
Simple assembly of small wheels on carts that require hand tool experience!
- Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Understanding of hand tools, saws, drills, and how to use them.
- Must be able to drive a forklift.
- Experience using overhead cranes.
- Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of on-the-job experience.
- Basic Reading skills and must be able to follow directions
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
- Work in a team environment and respect all teammates
- Can read a tape measure.
- Can operate a forklift driver safely.
- Can operate an overhead crane.
- Experience and knowledge with assembling Gearboxes, Motors, Shafts, Sprockets, Chains, Bearings, etc.
- Experience with Hand Tools & some power tools.
- Can interpret Assembly drawings or Mechanical drawings
- Experience with Conveyor Systems is a big plus.
- Can operate a circular saw for cutting wood.
- Physical Demands And Abilities
- Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
- Regularly perform repetitive tasks
Shift starting at 7 am to 3:30pm
Currently working 10 hour/days M-Th and 8 hour Fridays and 5 Hour Saturdays.
