About the position

Contribute to high-impact projects in the Full Stack Software Development team.
Enhance skills in 5G Technology, AR/VR, and Computer Vision.
Engage in application development, including SaaS development and scripting.
Work with back-end technologies such as Express, Flask, and Ruby.
Utilize development tools and languages including .NET, C, C++, J2EE, Python, and Java.
Participate in enterprise development tasks like logging and monitoring.
Develop front-end applications using React.js, Ember, or Vue.
Analyze data processing and apply sharp analytical skills.
Engage in mobile development for Android/OS.
Work with service APIs, including microservices and restful services.
Participate in web development using various frameworks and browsers.

Currently enrolled in a qualifying bachelor's degree program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Good academic standing with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (e.g., Python, Java, React, NodeJS, NextJS, Javascript/Typescript).
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.

Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Knowledge of mobile development (e.g., Android, IOS).
Knowledge of service Application Programming Interface (API) Integration (e.g., Microservices, Restful APIs, Web Services).
Knowledge of Web Development (e.g., Frameworks, browsers, and embedded applications).
Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) automation tools and/or Secure SW development cycle.
