Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time position with school districts in the Reading, MA area. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators who are committed to supporting students with visual impairments and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.

Active Massachusetts TVI license (required)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field with emphasis on Visual Impairments
Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive strategies for students with visual impairments
Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, families, and support staff

Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments in alignment with their IEP goals
Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet individual student needs
Teach Braille, use of assistive technology, orientation, and mobility skills as appropriate
Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure accessibility in general education settings
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
Support students across multiple grade levels as needed
