Nissenbaum Law Group, LLC is a boutique, full-service commercial law firm seeking a motivated attorney with a focus on corporate law. The role involves managing a caseload, drafting and reviewing agreements, advising clients on sales and acquisitions, and providing general counsel services. Responsibilities Managing a caseload of assignments across numerous clients and varying industries Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and providing consultation to clients relating to agreements in a wide array of fields, including intellectual property, entertainment and sports, construction, health and digital businesses Advising clients with respect to all stages of sales and acquisitions of a variety of businesses from inception through closing Preparing corporate governance documents for both for-profit and nonprofit entities Providing general counsel services for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit entities Filing trademarks and copyrights and collaborating with the litigation team respecting the enforcement of those rights Conducting complex legal research and analysis into nuanced areas of law, industry regulations, and practices Skills JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school (PLEASE NOTE: A Master of Laws degree that was earned instead of a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school is not a sufficient substitute.) Admission in New Jersey is required; admission in Pennsylvania or New York is preferred Relevant experience is preferred Must be able to concisely and accurately communicate, both orally and in writing Exceptional legal research and analysis skills Strong organizational skills with a high level of perseverance and business-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant experience is preferred Admission in Pennsylvania or New York is preferred Benefits Multiple medical insurance plans Group long term disability insurance Group life insurance Fidelity 401K each with an employer contribution Additional insurance options are available at employee cost.
