Our client, a top pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Temporary IT Contracts Attorney for its team on a temporary remote basis.
Approx 6 month duration, full time hours
Location: Remote – Eastern Standard Time Hours
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Contracts Attorney to lead and support high-volume strategic procurement transactions, with a focus on technology and IT services. This temporary full-time role is ideal for a highly skilled legal professional with deep expertise in drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex buy-side agreements in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic IT procurement negotiations, ensuring alignment with internal policies and commercial objectives
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including:
- Software and SaaS licensing
- AI and emerging tech partnerships
- IT services and consulting engagements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and Information Security teams to mitigate risk and drive value
- Advise stakeholders on contract risk, deal structure, and compliance matters
- Support and enhance contract templates and playbooks
- Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the U.S.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience negotiating technology and IT-related contracts, preferably within an in-house legal or procurement team
- Demonstrated expertise in buy-side strategic transactions, with ability to assess legal and business risk quickly and clearly
- Deep familiarity with licensing models including SaaS, enterprise IT services, and AI technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
Comp: 100$/hour+, depending on experience
