- Responsibilities
- Strategic Data Segmentation: Analyze existing data products to identify regional outliers and document the end-to-end "Runbook" for dividing global data spaces
- Data Product Design: Architect and curate "Business-Ready" datasets within Snowflake, ensuring they align with a single source of truth for billing, customers, and assets.
- Metadata & Lineage: Manage comprehensive documentation of data sources and their lineage to ensure transparency during the segmentation process.
- Governance & Quality: Design and implement data quality policies and access controls, acting as a technical consultant to ensure regional compliance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with internal Architects and dedicated project teams to develop data ontologies that facilitate semantic understanding across global systems.
- Qualifications & Must-Haves
- Industry Experience: Telecom experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with fiber network data (equipment, data centers, dark/lit fiber) is a significant advantage.
- Technical Stack: * Snowflake: Expert-level proficiency in designing data products and schemas.
- Salesforce: Strong experience navigating Salesforce data structures as a primary source.
- Oracle Fusion: Preferred experience with Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Core Experience: 7+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Management.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to handle complex data "divorce" scenarios (divestitures or segmentations) where data overlap is high.
- Tools: Familiarity with AWS S3 and data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation) is a plus.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
