Position: Sr. Claims Specialist (Work Comp)

- Handle single and multi-party commercial line Workman's Compensation claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity
- Document claims files by accurately capturing and updating claims data/information
- Analyze relevant facts to determine liability and coverage verification
- Develop case strategies for timely resolution of claims and establish timely reserves
- Negotiate settlements of claims by establishing appropriate negotiation strategies What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims and/or Litigation Management area, or equivalent experience
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
- High School Diploma Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims and/or Litigation Management area How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6 or more years of experience handling high severity Workers Compensation litigated claims
- Active adjuster's license in the state of California
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex coverage determinations to clients
- Experience collaborating in a team environment and building cross-functional working relationships
