About the position
- Responsibilities
- Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
- Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
- Complete other assignments and projects as needed
- Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department
- Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of employment without restrictions
- 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Flexibility to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday
- Availability to work a permanent weekend shift to meet business needs
- Nice-to-haves
- Specialty pharmacy experience
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
