About Fountain
Fountain is a specialized healthcare provider delivering premium hormone replacement therapy services across 30 states for both women and men. We're seeking a licensed physician to serve as a backup collaborative physician for our team of Nurse Practitioners who conduct telemedicine visits for patients in South Carolina
Position Overview
This is a 100% remote backup/contingency role for a physician who would collaborate with and supervise our NP providers in South Carolina. This position requires minimal time commitment—our previous backup physician was not called upon once during a three-year period.
Requirements
MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license in South Carolina
Must reside in South Carolina
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or related specialty
Available for occasional consultation if needed
Experience with hormone replacement therapies, including testosterone replacement for men and HRT for perimenopause/menopause in women
Excellent communication skills and responsiveness
Compensation
$200 monthly retainer paid consistently regardless of workload
Full malpractice coverage is provided under our insurance policy
No administrative burden—we handle all paperwork and documentation
