Social Media & Marketing Manager: Orthodox Christian (Part-Time, Remote)

We're a growing Orthodox Christian media startup focused on thoughtful, engaging conversations around faith, culture, and theology. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager & Video Content Editor to fully manage our social platforms and edit both short- and long-form video content. Experience in graphic design and video editing is a major plus!

This role is ideal for someone who is creative, self-motivated, and interested in faith-based media — especially students, recent graduates, or those looking to build experience in digital marketing and content creation.

Responsibilities
• Manage and post content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Edit all video content for social media
• Create simple graphics and visual assets to accompany posts
• Generate new content strategies, engagement, and performance tactics
• Coordinate with web and graphic designers as needed

Qualifications
• Efficient video editing and/or graphic design experience is preferred (professional or personal projects welcome)
• Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar is a plus (not required)
• Entry-level applicants are strongly encouraged to apply
• College students seeking internships or part-time experience are welcome
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Orthodox Christians and/or those familiar with Orthodox Christianity are highly encouraged and preferred, though applicants of all backgrounds are welcome.

Time Commitment & Flexibility
• 2-8 hours per week (3-4 hours per week is the anticipated average)
• Very flexible, choose-your-own schedule, with some light coordination and time-sensitive deadlines

REMOTE – PART-TIME/PRN – $17-22 / hour

A Letter of recommendation is available for professional programs or future employers.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
