- MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a ServiceNow Test Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the US Navy:
- Collaborate with developers, concierge team, and product owners to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure accurate test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of ServiceNow features, including customizations, workflows, catalog items, and scripts.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions with business users.
- Identify, document, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups, and provide input from a test perspective.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by enhancing testing methodologies, frameworks, and automation strategies.
- Maintain current knowledge of technology and best practices relevant to the industry.
- WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The ServiceNow Test Engineer must have:
- Required Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance.
- Required Experience: 5+ years of ServiceNow and Test Engineering experience.
- Experience working with Agile/SCRUM, writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Required Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) or CompTIA Security+
- Required Skills + Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to accept, process, and learn from critical feedback
- Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid testing environment
- Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret highly complex information from multiple sources and draw insightful conclusions.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal, written, listening and non-verbal communication) skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent multitasking skills.
- Education: Bachelors Degree
