Job Description
- REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience 8+ years
- Strong experience on system administration, implementation of IBM API Connect & DataPower gateway such as REST and SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of IBM server infrastructure, familiarity with data center and remote site issues
- Experience in Installation and deployment of IBM Integration products like IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower gateway over on-prem/ cloud
- Good understanding of networking standards and technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, routing, firewall rules, load balancers etc
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation along with solution design for DC-DR setup & switchover for IBM APIC & DataPower
- Good understanding for security frameworks like MTLS, OAuth, JWT along with implementation on gateways
- Design, analyze and manage the APIC flows using gateway scripts and XSLT
- Installation, configuration, testing and upgrade of IBM APIC platform along with IBM DataPower gateway.
- Must have strong knowledge on Unix and Linux administration
- Should have knowledge on working with Developer portal and authentication used for API marketplace
- Proficient in communicating and driving technology solutions that support business objectives
- Ability to explore and grasp new technologies
- Mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies
- Empowering the team members to be solution providers and enable a flat environment where everyone’s point of view is considered and feedback is encouraged.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
- Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
- Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
- Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
- Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
- Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
- Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
- Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
