About the position
- Responsibilities
- Manage multiple accounting projects and ensure timely completion.
- Delegate workload effectively among team members.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in accounting practices.
- Prepare external financial statements and disclosures.
- Compile supporting documentation for quarterly earnings releases.
- Monitor SEC and IFRS accounting developments.
- Research and implement new accounting and disclosure requirements.
- Perform ad hoc technical accounting research and participate in special projects.
- Draft financial statement filings such as 10-Q/6K and 10-K/20-F.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- 6+ years of accounting experience
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience with SEC filings and SOX compliance
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Proficiency in preparing external financial statements and disclosures
- Experience in compiling supporting documentation for quarterly earnings releases
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the life science industry
- Familiarity with general ledger systems
- Proficiency in SAP (S/4 Hana), OneStream, and Workiva
- Mandarin language skills
- Knowledge of XBRL and/or filing SEC financial statements
- Experience with drafting financial statement filings (10-Q/6K and 10-K/20-F)
