- Description:
- Manage regulatory interactions, drafting regulatory correspondence and responding to inquiries
- Design, develop, and implement compliance strategies aligned with regulatory obligations
- Deliver targeted education and training on laws and risk
- Interact with state regulators and maintain relationships
- Primary contact for state regulatory compliance matters
- Investigate unethical behavior, recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance integrated into operational decision-making and risk management
- Prepare regulatory reports, filings, and follow-ups; assist with audits
- Build relationships and communicate status to senior management
- Guide teams to accomplish complex goals; adapt to shifting priorities
- Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of prior relevant work experience in compliance or regulatory position
- Healthcare industry knowledge and experience
- Must work west coast schedule
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
