Responsibilities β’ Deliver accurate and timely work product within deliverable timelines β’ Prepare work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, income and expense accruals and investment activity β’ Update distribution waterfall (carried interest) models β’ Prepare management fee calculations and supporting schedules β’ Review all transaction documentation and supporting files, and understand the features of the investment transactions, accruals, etc. β’ Perform reconciliations, process journal entries and cash balances β’ Support year-end audit process, in collaboration with the team, client and auditors β’ Actively interact with clients and counter-parties including legal counsels, auditors and tax advisors to meet key deadlines β’ Analytical review of daily and monthly results Requirements β’ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Mathematics, or related field; CPA and/or MBA is a plus β’ 2+ years' experience in Accounting; a focus on alternative investments, Private Equity/Real Assets experience or Hedge Funds, is a plus β’ Knowledge required of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other comprehensive accounting concepts; knowledge on investment partnerships is a plus β’ Experience preparing and reviewing general ledgers, work papers and financial statements β’ Deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail with the ability to complete assigned tasks independently β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team successfully β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills required β’ Audit experience is a plus Benefits β’ 401k Matching Program β’ Professional Development Reimbursement β’ Flexible Personal/Vacation Time Off β’ Sick Leave β’ Paid Holidays β’ Medical, Dental, Vision β’ Employee Assistance Program β’ Parental Leave β’ Discounts on fitness clubs, travel and more Apply tot his job
