We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Provide specialized instruction based on students unique needs, promoting academic, social, and behavioral growth.
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to ensure the success of students with special needs.
Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field required; Masters degree preferred.
Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Minnesota (K-12).
Experience working with students with disabilities, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, and other developmental delays.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $35 - $40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
