Seeking Commercial Landscaping Mentor / Consultant to Help Scale B2B Contract Acquisition
About the Project:
I'm a landscaping business owner in the DFW area who has recently acquired a landscaping company. I have a strong background in B2B sales and marketing, but I'm new to the commercial landscaping space specifically — and I want to learn from someone who has been in the trenches.
I'm looking for an experienced commercial landscaping professional or consultant who can serve as a mentor and strategic advisor to help me build out a repeatable system for winning commercial landscaping contracts — HOAs, property management companies, commercial properties, retail centers, office parks, and similar accounts.
What I'm Looking For Help With:
- How commercial landscaping bids and contracts are structured
- Where and how to find and approach commercial property managers and decision-makers
- What separates winning bids from losing ones — pricing, presentation, and positioning
- How to build relationships with property management companies at scale
- What a competitive service offering looks like in the DFW market
- Common mistakes new operators make when going after commercial accounts
- How to build a pipeline and track commercial sales activity
Ideal Candidate:
- Has personally won and managed commercial landscaping contracts
- Can speak to both the sales/business development side AND operations
- Is willing to do regular calls (bi-weekly or monthly) to advise and answer questions as I learn
- Has a mentor mindset — I'm not looking for a done-for-you service, I want to learn
Time Requirement
This is a consulting/mentorship engagement. I'm looking for an hourly rate for 1-2 calls per month, 1 hour each.
