- *Overview:** The Rowan County School District is seeking a highly qualified Science Hybrid Classroom Teacher(In-person/Virtual) to join our team at Rowan Academy. This is a full-time, 5-12 grade position that will provide instruction to students in a hybrid classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to both in-person and virtual teaching environments. **Responsibilities:**
- Teach General Science courses to students in grades 5-12 in a hybrid classroom setting
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of all students
- Provide individualized support to students as needed
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and needs
- *Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
- Valid teaching certificate for grades 5-12
- Experience teaching Science in a hybrid classroom setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
