Key Responsibilities:
ย Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
ย Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
ย Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations for student support services.
ย Deliver direct counseling and therapeutic services to students, addressing academic, emotional, and social challenges.
ย Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support for students experiencing acute emotional distress.
ย Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed.
Requirements:
ย Active School Psychologist license in the state of California.
ย Masterยs or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
ย Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting is highly preferred.
ย Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws.
ย Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.
