Job Description

We are a U.S.-based telecommunications company that’s been in business for 20 years. Our Salesforce CRM has fallen behind due to bandwidth constraints, and we’re now looking for a U.S.-based Salesforce expert to help us clean, organize, and automate part of our workflow.

This role involves three key deliverables:

1. Company & contract data entry for around 900 customers

2. Automated alerts for expiring contracts

3. Exporting a list of accounts missing contact info

Scope of Work Details

Part 1: Company & Contract Data Entry. Enter and/or update 900 customer accounts in Salesforce from an excel sheet.

Each record must include:

1. Company Name

2. Contact Information (when available)

3. Contract Values. Some company's can have multiple contracts.

4. Contract Expiration Date

5. Account Number(s)

6. Carrier/Provider Name

7. TSD (the sales agency associated with the account)

Ensure data is clean, de-duplicated, and consistently formatted.

Flag or resolve discrepancies where appropriate.

Part 2: "Contract Expiring" Notification

Set up a simple automation that sends an email notification to our team of upcoming contract expirations.

Ideal format: weekly emails with the ability to filter for contracts expiring in the next 30, 60, or 90 days. I.e. "[Company A]'s contract is expiring in 90 days, reach out to [Contact First Name] at [Contact Phone Number] now."

Part 3: Final Contact List Export

Generate an excel file that identifies Salesforce Company accounts that are missing point-of-contact (POC) info including:

First and Last Name

Phone Number

Email Address

Export this list to a spreadsheet format (CSV/Excel) Including blank fields for our team to complete manually

Include Company Name, TSD, and Account ID for our team to reference.

Other notes:

Data Sensitivity & Confidentiality

This role will involve access to confidential customer data.

You must:

1. Sign a simple Confidentiality Agreement (we’ll provide this) prior to starting work.

2. Treat all data with strict confidentiality according to the agreement.

3. Use secure connections and follow basic data security best practices.

Communication & Meetings

You must be available for up to 3 virtual check-in meetings during the project.

These may be used for onboarding, progress reviews, or troubleshooting

Meetings will be scheduled based on mutual availability

✅ Requirements

Proven experience with Salesforce data entry, reporting, and cleanup

Comfort with basic automation tools inside Salesforce (Flow, Process Builder, or dashboards)

Strong attention to detail and process accuracy

U.S.-based only

Telecom or B2B contract familiarity is a bonus
