Job Description
- This is a remote position.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop Ruby scripts and applications to meet business needs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Develop front-end components using Vue.js or other front-end JavaScript frameworks.
- Deploy and manage applications on the Heroku platform.
- Follow Git management best practices for version control and collaborate effectively with the development team.
- Create and maintain SASS/CSS stylesheets for consistent and appealing user interfaces.
- Apply common software engineering design patterns to ensure high-quality and scalable code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Ruby scripting and related technologies.
- Requirements
- 1+ years of total job experience in Ruby scripting and development.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or similar.
- Familiarity with Heroku deployment and managing applications in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of Git management best practices and experience with collaborative version control.
- Preferably with experience in Feathery.
- Proficiency in SASS/CSS for styling web applications.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Understanding and application of common software engineering design patterns.
- Optional: Experience with DevOps practices, including shared codebases, Circle CI, and automated testing.
