- Responsibilities
- Effectively uses the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care.
- Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate for diverse patient needs.
- Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources effectively.
- Serves as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Utilizes data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
- Enhances customer satisfaction and employee morale in the nursing profession.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Requirements
- Current RN License in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Must have computer skills for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to the role.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Nice-to-haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Certification in clinical specialty area.
