Job description: Summary: Serves as secretary to the guidance office and public being served in communicating information, problem
solving, and material acquisition. This is a school year position with up to five (5) additional days before and at the end of the school year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Staff in this position will
- Provide confidential administrative support.
- Maintain Middle School Attendance records.
- Work productively as a member of a team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Work with children, school personnel, and/or the public.
- Work closely with guidance staff on student enrollments and cumulative files.
- Handle incoming calls appropriately.
- Schedule appointments, interviews, etc.
- Schedule tutoring as needed.
- Maintain accurate files and records.
- Operate all types of office equipment.
- Produce documents and reports as requested.
- Maintain and track supplies.
- Organize student needs for summer school.
- Enter and retrieve information from District software programs.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
