As a UX Researcher on the Creation team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of generative AI (GENAI) experiences on Instagram, driving the identification of latent user needs and informing product strategy. Responsibilities • Work closely with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver impactful products for Instagram s GENAI initiatives • Independently and collaboratively develop and execute comprehensive research roadmaps that align with product goals and timelines • Lead and manage research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle from identifying research needs, designing research plans, conducting studies, to synthesizing and delivering actionable insights • Influence product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning by providing data-driven insights that guide the development and refinement of GENAI features • Oversee and coordinate with external research vendors to augment the team s capabilities and ensure high-quality research outcomes • Facilitate rapid feedback loops on GENAI prototypes, enabling the team to iterate quickly and effectively based on user insights Skills • Proven experience conducting end-to-end UX research within the product ecosystem, including qualitative study design and execution • Strong background in generative AI or product research related to GENAI features • Former employee with demonstrated expertise delivering research insights that directly inform product strategy • Demonstrated ability to independently conduct research projects from inception to completion, including identifying research needs, planning, execution, and insight delivery • Strong ability to activate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving alignment and momentum • Extensive experience in designing and executing qualitative research studies, leveraging data to support hypotheses and product decisions • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into compelling narratives for diverse audiences • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make informed decisions to balance competing demands • Prior experience working with AI technologies, especially in the context of product research or development • Expertise in advanced quantitative research methodologies and analytics Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Commuter • 401K benefits with company matching Company Overview • Ursus, Inc., has been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) for four consecutive years as the fastest-growing technical and creative staffing firm in the United States.
