Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PROTECT3D is a Durham, NC company that manufactures custom 3D-printed braces, orthotics, and supports. The Territory Sales Manager will drive sales across a multi-state territory by building relationships with distributor partners and clinics, while also managing their sales pipeline and representing the brand at industry events. Responsibilities Own your territory quota — monthly, quarterly, and annual unit targets; track your own progress and adjust proactively Open new accounts — consistent outreach to new clinics, athletic training programs, and provider groups; minimum of 1 new account opened per month Map your territory — use available data and tools to identify providers, clinics, and distributor opportunities across your multi-state patch Activate and support distributors — recruit, onboard, and develop distribution partners; train their teams, support key calls, and build sustainable ordering relationships Sell direct where the opportunity calls for it — maintain direct clinic relationships to complement your distributor network and ensure full territory coverage Become a product expert — develop deep knowledge of the AFO, CMC brace, and foot orthotics and communicate clinical value confidently to medical professionals Manage your pipeline — keep CRM records current and use data to prioritize your territory activity Represent PROTECT3D — attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events; build the brand in your market Skills Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) or equivalent clinical credential (PT, orthopedic technician, sports medicine professional) Ability to work independently, manage your own priorities, and drive outcomes independently Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable with technology (CRM, AI, 3D scanning apps, and digital workflows) Valid driver's license; willingness to travel significantly Competitive collegiate athletic background - you understand what elite performance demands and why the right equipment matters 1–3 years of sales, business development, or clinical account management experience - DME, medical device, or specialty healthcare a plus Existing relationships in the sports medicine, orthopedic, PT/OT, or athletic training community Familiarity with the DME/orthotic or bracing landscape Benefits Medical coverage Relocation: Stipend available for the right candidate Company Overview Protect3d is a leveraging 3D technologies to bring custom protective devices to athletes and competitors everywhere.
