We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Benefits Representative to join our remote team, working with a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless access to medical benefits and medications.
Position Overview:
- Competitive Compensation: $17/hour, paid weekly, plus comprehensive benefits package
- Flexible Schedule: 8am-8pm CST, Monday-Friday (8-hour shift between these hours)
- Equipment Provided: All necessary equipment will be provided for remote work
- Start Date: Immediate openings available, with ASAP start date
- Company: Workwarp, a leading provider of remote workforce solutions
- Location: Remote, with a requirement to live in the state of Kentucky or surrounding cities
Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Medical Benefits Representative, you will:
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients, healthcare professionals, and carriers
- Conduct medical benefits investigations and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize computer skills for data entry, gathering, and reviewing patient billing and medical information
- Operate in accordance with Federal Health Care Program guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of patients
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Benefits experience (no exceptions)
- Medical Call Center experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to multi-task, use dual monitors, and maintain a high level of productivity
- Excellent work attitude, willingness to help others, and strong communication skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Must live in the state of Kentucky or surrounding cities to be considered
