Cigna Healthcare is a leading health service provider, and they are seeking a Senior Clinical Account Executive to manage strategic relationships between Evernorth Pharmacy and clients. This role involves driving revenue growth in various business segments while serving as a client expert and internal leader. Responsibilities β’ Act as the primary pharmacy subject matter expert for assigned accounts β’ Provide clinical and strategic consultation and analysis to improve patient experience, manage costs, and optimize network performance β’ Retain assigned business book through proactive portfolio management and renewal strategies β’ Serve as the primary liaison for pharmacy services, ensuring client retention and satisfaction β’ Develop and execute client-specific strategic plans, incorporating clinical expertise and business solutions β’ Drive expansions, renewals, and revenue growth through expanded client relationships β’ Represent the organization at industry events and conferences as required β’ Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, underwriting, implementation) and external brokers/consultants to achieve client strategic objectives and resolve escalated issues β’ Lead large cross-functional projects and influence decisions using data-driven insights β’ Share best practices and industry standards with peers and clients β’ Lead process improvement initiatives and mentor Associate Account Executives, including interviewing prospective candidates β’ Apply deep knowledge of business drivers, market trends, and industry innovations to guide actions and advance organizational goals β’ Stay current on policies, practices, and competitive landscapes β’ Maintain current U.S. pharmacist license and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmacy processes, pricing, and specialty drug pipeline Skills β’ Education: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy; advanced degrees or residency preferred β’ Licensure: Current U.S. Pharmacist License (minimum 5 years) β’ 5+ years in PBM, managed care, specialty pharmacy or clinical pharmacy practice β’ Strong business and financial acumen β’ Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills β’ Highly organized, analytical, problem-solving expertise and adept at time management β’ Proven ability to influence, lead, negotiate, and build relationships internally and externally β’ Ability to travel up to 20% as needed β’ Experience with financial modeling and pricing strategies β’ Familiarity with specialty pharmacy operations and disease state management β’ Technically savvy (ChatGPT, Microsoft applications, CRM tools, and Internal systems) Benefits β’ Medical β’ Vision β’ Dental β’ Well-being and behavioral health programs β’ 401(k) β’ Company paid life insurance β’ Tuition reimbursement β’ A minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year β’ Paid holidays Company Overview β’ We are a health benefits provider that advocates for better health through every stage of life.
