Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPM Scientific is partnering with a rapidly growing global biopharma to find a BD Scientist specializing in biologics and in-vivo models. This role involves translating scientific expertise into business strategy, engaging with industry leaders, and building relationships to advance novel antibody assets.
- Responsibilities
- Translate science to strategy. Engage with Biotech & Biopharma leaders, unpack their in-vivo needs, and connect them to the right biologics platforms and assets; then drive discussions through to signed agreements
- Build the market. Proactively develop new relationships, cultivate key accounts, and negotiate terms that create win-win collaborations
- Be the face at the right places. Represent the company at scientific meetings and conferences; contribute to brand-building and awareness alongside Marketing
- Skills
- PhD (or equivalent) in a bioscience field with hands-on in-vivo mouse modeling relevant to biologics discovery/development (oncology, immunology, neuro, metabolic, etc.)
- Curiosity about biopharma business and a go-getter mentality
- Strength in scientific communication - verbal & written, compelling data storytelling, and ease interacting with senior scientists and leaders
- Willingness to travel for meetings and key industry events
- Must have U.S. work authorization
