The Regional Sales Director will lead a team of Commercial Account Executives focused on selling Next Gen Dremio Cloud (SaaS) and will be responsible for driving pipeline generation and revenue growth in the Americas. Responsibilities β€’ Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives selling Next Gen Dremio Cloud (SaaS) β€’ Establish and reinforce a pipeline-first culture with strong outbound discipline β€’ Drive consistent execution of commercial sales motions, including prospecting, qualification, and deal progression β€’ Own regional performance across pipeline creation, bookings, and forecast accuracy β€’ Actively participate in deal reviews, account strategy sessions, and key customer engagements β€’ Recruit, hire, onboard, and ramp new sales talent effectively β€’ Implement a strong operating cadence including pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and performance coaching β€’ Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Architects, and RevOps to scale impact β€’ Ensure accurate CRM usage, reporting discipline, and forecasting hygiene β€’ Develop future sales leaders and support career progression within the commercial organization Skills β€’ 3–5 years of sales leadership experience managing quota-carrying Account Executives; Business Development/SDR/BDR management experience is not sufficient β€’ Must have experience managing sellers who close deals with average sizes of $50K-$300K β€’ Prior experience as a successful Account Executive in a SaaS or cloud-based sales environment β€’ Demonstrated ability to coach outbound pipeline generation, not rely on inbound alone β€’ Proven success building high-performing, metrics-driven sales teams β€’ Experience managing commercial or mid-market sales motions with shorter sales cycles β€’ Strong deal coaching, inspection, and forecasting skills β€’ Call recording and productivity improvement β€’ Embrace Dremio's sales tools and drive best practices β€’ Sales Navigator, Salesforce.com, Zoominfo, 6Sense, Outreach/Nooks, Zoom Revenue Accelerator β€’ Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership presence β€’ Strong collaborator with Solutions Architecture (pre-sales) and RevOps β€’ Focus on driving whole solutions with Professional Services & Training β€’ Embracing partnerships to drive success, including Cloud Service Providers (CSP), Independent Software Vendors (ISV), and Systems Integrator (SI/Consulting) relationships β€’ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment β€’ BA/BS preferred β€’ Strong leadership capabilities β€’ Must operate with a high sense of urgency β€’ Experience in sales coaching and mentoring β€’ Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment β€’ Has a strong drive for results β€’ Strong engagement and communication skills β€’ Consultative selling experience β€’ Is a trusted advisor to the customers and colleagues β€’ Prior experience working within the Data and AI Software space β€’ Strong coaching and talent development mindset β€’ High accountability with empathy and clarity β€’ Data-driven decision making β€’ Bias toward action and continuous improvement β€’ Ability to inspire performance while building a positive team culture β€’ Experience leading teams selling SaaS or cloud-native platforms β€’ Background in data, analytics, infrastructure, or developer-focused technologies β€’ Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-driven pricing models β€’ Experience scaling teams during periods of growth and change Company Overview β€’ The Intelligent Lakehouse Platform It was founded in 2015, and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
