Yelp is dedicated to connecting people with outstanding local businesses and is seeking a Regional Director of Brand Sales to lead a team of Brand Sales Directors. The role involves managing sales strategies, exceeding quotas, and developing executive-level relationships to drive revenue through innovative advertising solutions. Responsibilities β€’ Manage and coach a team of 6-8 sales directors to develop successful sales strategies, including implementing multi-tiered approaches, establishing a wide network of contacts, defining measurable success metrics, developing successful campaigns, navigating conversations around attribution, identifying and staying ahead of risks, and accurately forecasting opportunities. β€’ Meet and exceed quarterly sales team quotas by holding the team accountable for activities that lead to revenue generation. β€’ Provide regular updates to management on team activities, opportunities, and risks. β€’ Implement strategic planning, forecasting, and ongoing development of the sales team. β€’ Identify improvements in all areas of productivity, process, and efficiency. β€’ Develop and maintain executive-level relationships to help drive sales activities. β€’ Assist in closing complex multi-million dollar programs with the team. Skills β€’ Have 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more. β€’ Possess 10+ years of relevant enterprise experience across sales, digital, and advertising roles. β€’ Demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding multi-million dollar sales targets. β€’ Be an experienced communicator with a proven track record of executive outreach. β€’ Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a history of building partnerships from scratch. β€’ Possess the ability to handle critical conversations internally with representatives as well as client escalations. β€’ Be able to navigate uncertainty successfully for all parties and lead to desired outcomes. β€’ Embrace a strong belief in our company's mission and naturally put the company and team first. β€’ Be able to travel 20% of the time. β€’ Exhibit an easy-going, cool-headed demeanor, with a track record of collaboration and working well internally. β€’ Be ready and willing to roll up your sleeves and build something big at our company.
