As a Performance Monitor Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting non-clinical file audits, identifying areas for improvement, and participating in Interrater Reliability meetings. You will also contribute to the development and review of non-clinical review tools, ensuring that they accurately capture evidence of expected clinical performance within contractual and Model of Care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-clinical file assessments to ensure adherence to required standards
- Develop and review non-clinical review tools to ensure accuracy and validity
- Review program descriptions, policies, and procedures to evaluate alignment with review tool elements and contractual standards
- Participate in meetings to discuss review findings and recommendations for improvement
- Escalate areas of concern and participate in preparation for audits as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in a managed care setting, medical office, or facility setting with medical administration duties
- Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs preferred
