Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide top-notch patient support via phone, email, and other communication channels, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions to patient inquiries and concerns.

  • Meet performance goals in patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance, while adhering to department standards and guidelines.

  • Multitask using dual monitors for data entry, phone etiquette, and resource utilization, maintaining proper guidelines and protocols.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including clinicians and supervisors, to resolve patient issues and provide exceptional care.

  • Utilize Optum systems to address customer needs, including appointments, authorizations, claims, and benefits.

Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.

  • 40 wpm typing speed and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and other systems.

  • Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • Previous experience working in a virtual environment or with multiple computer screens.

Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Reside within the Mountain or Central Time Zone.

  • Ability to maintain a secure and private work area.

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
