Job Description
We are a growing forklift repair and service company seeking a reliable Remote Data Clerk / Accounting Assistant to support our daily administrative and accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and is willing to learn QuickBooks.
You will work closely with our dispatcher and parts department to ensure accurate invoicing, timely billing, and proper tracking of payables.
- Responsibilities
- Create and process customer invoices in QuickBooks
- Email invoices and monthly statements to customers
- Enter accounts payable bills and match them against purchase orders
- Process and track payments for bills owed
- Coordinate with the dispatcher to send job-related and pending service emails
- Communicate with the parts department to verify pricing accuracy
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Follow established workflows and meet daily deadlines
- Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable internet connection and computer
- Strong written communication skills
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or administrative support preferred
- Experience in service, repair, or parts-based businesses is a plus

- Approximately 2 hours per day, flexible within agreed-upon timeframes
- Compensation & Classification
- $10/hour
- Paid as an independent contractor (1099)
- Contractor is responsible for their own taxes
