Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Responsibilities
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Prepare and file pleadings and motions
- Assist in setting and coordinating hearings, depositions, and other case events
- Organize case files and maintain deadlines
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Support attorney(s) in all phases of litigation
- Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
- Strong legal writing and research skills
- Ability to draft discovery, pleadings, and motions with minimal supervision
- Experience with Mississippi law and courts strongly preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with legal case management systems (experience with MyCase a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Compensation
- Pay is negotiable and based on experience

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
