Responsibilities:
Ā Evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develop and prepare technical solutions and documents.
Ā Perform functional gap analysis, review design documentation and participate in design reviews
Ā Review and interpret architectural and technical design documents to develop complex OIPA transactions and processes using best practice OIPA configuration techniques
Ā Design logical queries to facilitate calculations, reporting and complex formulas
Ā Research and correct defects
Ā Develop Technical Design Documents
Ā Perform code reviews
Ā Develop AsFile, Real-time and Push integration services
Ā Research and evaluate system capabilities for integrating product, service and technical solutions to enable business partners
Ā REST services with proven ability to implement solutions
Ā Entity based logical modeling and data throughput optimization
Ā Adhere to defined OIPA integration best practices
Ā Ability to productively work under Agile project methodologies
Ā Database concepts and a strong understanding of SQL query building and optimization
Ā Insurance life and health products for individual, group and worksite markets
Ā Configure life or health products using OIPA V10 or V11
Ā XSLT and OIPA configuration expertise
Basic Qualifications:
Ā 5+ years of Development and Integrations (OIPA & SOA or MuleSoft) experience
Ā LOMA certification with insurance business functions including: underwriting and policy issue, payment processing, monthaversary, anniversary, disbursement, withdrawal, correspondence, nonforfeiture, lapse processing, state reporting, billing, policy servicing, product set-up, health claims processing, life claims processing
Preferences/Nice to have:
Ā Oracle SOA and BPM
Education:
Ā Bachelor s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or other equivalent working experience
