About the position
The Audit Manager position is focused on providing exceptional audit services to non-profit organizations. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in public accounting, particularly within the non-profit sector, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to a rapidly growing firm recognized as a Top 100 firm in the U.S.
- Responsibilities
- Manage audit engagements for non-profit clients
- Lead and mentor a team of auditors
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding audit findings and recommendations
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Assist in training and development of junior staff
- Requirements
- CPA certification is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
- At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role
- Heavy experience with non-profit organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting is a plus
- Experience with CCH ProSystems is a plus

- Experience in tax compliance and planning for non-profits
