Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AI Acquisition is a global AI consulting and enablement platform helping businesses design and scale AI-powered services. They are seeking a technical n8n Automation Engineer to build and maintain workflows while working directly with clients to troubleshoot and implement automation solutions. Responsibilities • Design and maintain n8n workflows • Support clients through daily technical drop-in sessions • Run client calls to understand requirements, debug issues, and guide implementation • Act as a bridge between technical systems and non-technical founders • Build, optimize, and maintain n8n workflows for automation across sales, operations, onboarding, and internal processes • Debug, refactor, and scale workflows for reliability and performance • Write and maintain JavaScript / Code nodes within n8n • Ensure workflows are production-ready, documented, and reusable • Run daily technical drop-in sessions with clients (live troubleshooting, guidance, and implementation support) • Join client calls to: Understand automation needs, Translate business logic into workflows, Explain how systems work in clear, non-jargon language, Provide calm, structured support to less-technical founders and operators • Integrate n8n with tools such as: CRMs, Airtable, Google Sheets, APIs (internal and third-party), Webhooks, databases, and SaaS tools • Design workflows that handle: Data ingestion, Enrichment, Syncing between platforms, Trigger-based and scheduled automations • Work closely with consultants, delivery leads, and operations teams • Identify recurring client issues and convert them into scalable workflow solutions • Improve documentation, templates, and standard workflows • Proactively suggest improvements to systems and client experience Skills • Strong hands-on experience with n8n • Solid understanding of automation logic, APIs, and webhooks • Ability to write and debug JavaScript within automation tools • Experience building workflows that run reliably at scale • Comfort working across multiple tools and systems • Comfortable running client-facing calls • English fluency is a Must • Able to explain technical concepts in a clear, structured way • Confident guiding clients through setup, troubleshooting, and best practices • Calm, professional, and solutions-oriented when issues arise • High ownership and accountability • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment • Organized, reliable, and proactive • Enjoys problem-solving and continuous learning • Experience with Airtable, CRMs, or data-heavy workflows • Exposure to AI/LLM integrations • Background in consulting, solutions engineering, or technical support • Experience supporting founders or non-technical clients Company Overview • AI Acquisition is an AI Software as a Service (SaaS) business that helps entrepreneurs & SMBs build & grow successful AI-powered businesses.
