Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Motion is a company focused on assisting clients with their automation challenges. They are seeking an Automation Engineer to provide technical expertise, support clients, and drive sales in the hi-tech automation industry. Responsibilities β€’ Clearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrations of products including motion control systems, robotics, machine vision, precision linear mechanics, and more. β€’ Follow up and qualify all sales leads. β€’ Travel to customers on sales calls for new and existing applications providing technical expertise to help win business. β€’ Identify and develop prospective new clients (OEM focus). β€’ Provide commercial and technical support to clients for both new and existing applications. β€’ Must hold a firm grasp on mechanical, electrical, motor control and robotics concepts used in automated industrial machinery. β€’ Candidate is responsible for maintaining and growing current customer relationships and growing sales with new customer acquisition pursuits. β€’ Candidate will partner with our key vendors to identify, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients to grow the assigned sales territory and accounts. β€’ Can clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
