Job Summary:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and academic achievement
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and administrators
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
- Utilize technology to enhance instruction and facilitate communication with students and parents
Responsibilities:
- Teach middle school language arts curriculum to students in a remote setting
- Develop and administer assessments to measure student learning and progress
- Provide individualized support and instruction to students as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators through email, phone, and video conferencing
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- State certification as a Middle School Teacher
- Experience teaching middle school language arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of language arts curriculum and instructional strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
