Key Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance: Assist with regular inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components, ensuring all repairs are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all facilities, including common areas, restrooms, and workspaces, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety inspections and addressing any hazards promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment logs, to ensure transparency and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services, overseeing and inspecting work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs to ensure safety and continuity of operations as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
- Must be at least 21 and meet all local and state regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the cannabis industry.
- Certifications or training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Schedule and Work Arrangement
We're looking for a full-time Maintenance Support Technician to work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. This is a remote-based position, but you'll be required to visit our Haliewa work location occasionally, so you must have reliable self-transportation.
