Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Louisiana
Provide much-needed educational support to DHH students in rural or underserved areas via virtual teaching platforms. Work closely with families to ensure equity in access to education and related services.

- Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
- Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current LouisianaTeaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours (dependent on contractor experience/district budget)

Use the artsvisual, performance, and mediato enhance learning and self-expression among DHH students in a virtual environment. Incorporate ASL storytelling, drama, and digital arts into daily instruction.
A background in arts education or creative instructional strategies is highly valued.
