Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles collaborates with leading AI research labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. They are seeking a Valuation & Modeling Expert to review AI-generated analyses, translate workflows into AI training scenarios, and ensure the accuracy of financial datasets and models. Responsibilities β’ Review and evaluate AI-generated valuation analyses, financial models, and investment logic for accuracy and rigor β’ Translate real-world valuation and transaction modeling workflows into structured AI training scenarios β’ Create and curate high-quality financial datasets, valuation cases, and modeling prompts for AI training β’ Identify errors, weak assumptions, or missing context in AI-generated outputs and provide precise corrections β’ Collaborate with AI research and quality teams to refine financial modeling standards and best practices β’ Ensure all training materials meet high standards for analytical accuracy and real-world applicability β’ Communicate complex valuation and modeling concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills β’ Strong experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, growth equity, corporate development, or strategic finance at Tier-1 or Fortune 500 organizations β’ Strong command of valuation methodologies, including DCF with WACC, trading comparables, and precedent transaction analysis, along with advanced financial modeling β’ Hands-on experience with deal modeling, including LBOs, merger models, accretion/dilution analysis, and integrated 3-statement models β’ Ability to manage complex, bespoke transaction analyses such as spin-offs, carve-outs, IP licensing, and industry-specific models (e.g., NAV or REIT-related) β’ Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail β’ Proven ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed environment Company Overview β’ At Crossing Hurdles, we specialise in customised recruitment and staffing solutions designed to drive success for businesses and professionals.
