The Finance Analyst, L2 Technical Support, will maintain applications to ensure delivery of solutions for councils and volunteers, focusing on resolving technical issues and supporting application functionality. Responsibilities β’ Working on production support cases for applications owned by the Customer Applications team β’ Case management production support and support across customer applications, through troubleshooting application issues, providing root cause analysis of reported issues and effectively communicating with client to support resolution β’ Identification of bugs and minor enhancements. Communicating these items to business analysts or managers within Customer Applications so that they can be tracked and prioritized β’ Testing of solutions that were developed by our vendors so that these changes can be moved to production and regression testing β’ Fixing records and doing data updates in our applications to match what really happened β’ Develop in-depth functional knowledge of application(s) supported through Customer Applications with a primary focus on financial transactions Skills β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience β’ Minimum of three (3) years' experience in corporate environment doing technical support β’ Accounting or similar work experience β’ Collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of technical expertise at all levels of the Girl Scout movement β’ Ability to relay technical information to non-technical users and elicit clients' needs β’ Experience working production support cases β’ Experience identifying bugs and communicating them clearly β’ Experience testing bug fixes or enhancements to applications β’ Experience regression testing applications β’ Problem-solving β’ Analytical skills β’ Proven record of positive outcomes when supporting both internal and external customers β’ Effective verbal and written communications skills and a strong work ethic β’ Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment β’ Ability to work independently on assignments β’ Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Account Principles β’ Ability to navigate and interpret various Chart of Accounts β’ Financial Accounting experience β’ Competency in Office 365 or similar suites β’ Competency in PowerPoint or similar presentation software β’ Competency in Microsoft Excel or similar software β’ Case management software β’ Technical Support Experience β’ Financial Account experience β’ Three years' work experience in a technical discipline preferred β’ Programming experience is a plus β’ Experience working with Fund Accounting software is a plus β’ Familiarity with Netsuite is a plus β’ Competency in Salesforce is a plus Benefits β’ Paid Time Off: GSUSA offers 20 days of paid time off, 2 floating holidays, as well as 9 workplace holidays per year.
