The ER Information Center Consultant role involves providing support to employees and managers on Employee Relations matters, interpreting HR policies, and mediating workplace issues. Responsibilities Answering inbound phone calls as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding Employee Relations matters Interpretation of HR policies and practices Conflict resolution and counseling on sensitive workplace issues Manager assistance with performance management, including corrective action Assists the implementation of employee relations programs, policies and procedures, keeping them in line with organizational policy and labor law legislation; helps develop positive management-labor relations to improve employee relations Providing support to employees and managers in dealing with general employee issues Developing, implementing and administering the management-labor relations area of HR in an effort to improve employee relations Formulating and recommending program goals in all areas of employee relations Maintaining open communication between management and employees and serving as a labor dispute mediator for problem resolution Skills Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered Bachelors Action Planning Client Counseling Conflict Resolution Employee Relations Investigations Human Resources Policies Labor and Employment Law Personnel Records Benefits Medical/prescription drug coverage (with a Health Savings Account feature) Dental and vision options Employee and spouse/child life insurance Short and long-term disability protection 401(k) with PNC match Pension and stock purchase plans Dependent care reimbursement account Back-up child/elder care Adoption, surrogacy, and doula reimbursement Educational assistance, including select programs fully paid A robust wellness program with financial incentives Maternity and/or parental leave Up to 11 paid holidays each year 9 occasional absence days each year, unless otherwise required by law Between 15 to 25 vacation days each year, depending on career level Company Overview PNC is a financial service company providing bank deposits products and services to its community.
